Whilst this workshop is aimed at SBE Pathway students, PGRs from all seven interdisciplinary Pathways are welcome to attend.
This workshop will provide students with a guide to publishing in management journals. The panel consists of editors of some of the leading journals in the broad field of management studies. They will discuss what they look for in journal submissions, how to articulate research towards specific journals and their research agendas, and how the review process works. Following an introduction to their journals by each of the editors, PhD research students will have the opportunity to ask the panel questions in relation to any aspect of publishing in academic journals. The journals represented in this session will be: Business History, Competition and Change, Journal of Professions and Organization, Journal of Management Studies, and Organization Studies.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” overlay_strength=”0.3″ column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][carousel script=”carouFredSel” easing=”linear”][item id=”1711550331625-4″ tab_id=”1711550331626-5″ title=”Item”][team_member team_memeber_style=”meta_below” link_element=”none” color=”Accent-Color” name=”Claudia Gabbioneta” description=”Claudia Gabbioneta is Professor in Accounting and Management at the School for Business and Society, University of York.
