PGRs from all seven interdisciplinary Pathways are welcome to attend.
This training session will provide a broad introduction to the world of academic publishing, to find out more about the ‘mechanics’ of publishing, and to get a sense of how editors make decisions. It will be led by Professor Fliss Matthews (WRDTP Director), and will draw on her decade of experience as an editor of a leading academic journal.
The session will be of relevance to students from all disciplinary backgrounds, and will provide practical guidance about the things that you can do to improve your chances of success. This training session will be delivered online – a link to the training course will be provided to delegates closer to the event. This event will not be recorded but slides will be uploaded to the VIRE after the event.
