Numerous elections across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas have put democratic traditions and processes to the test. Invited experts with specialisms in elections from various regions of the world will explore the state of democracy in 2024, the key challenges to democracy, and the complexities of studying elections and democracy during a time of rapid political change.
The format of this session is a panel discussion and conversation, with time for networking over refreshments.
