We will discuss, explore and advocate for how we might achieve this. We will ask whether the systems and practices that students work within support students doing research with children and young people in different geographical and cultural contexts.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Outcomes
Participants will:

Begin to think critically about ethical research practices with children and young people through a decolonised lens;
Engage in collaborative dialogue within a community of practice to explore culturally and geographically responsive research approaches;
Assess the extent to which institutional systems support ethical and decolonised research with children and young people across diverse contexts.

Dr Delyth Edwards is a Lecturer in Inclusion, Childhood and Youth, in the School of Education at the University of Leeds and Deputy Director of the WRDTP ECY pathway. As a Sociologist of Care Experience, her research traverses the fields of social and cultural policy.
