Dr Peter Hart works in the area of Inclusion, Childhood and Youth, with research interests in the use of gaming in education, safeguarding and professional ethics, character education, and reading comprehension. Recent projects at Leeds include using board games to develop language comprehension, young people’s perspectives on active travel, ICKLE, REACH Primary, safeguarding gaming spaces, and Narnian Virtues. Whilst this event is free to attend for social science PGRs at our partner universities, please note that it has been organised at a significant cost to the WRDTP (approximately £50 per person). It is therefore essential that you inform us as soon as possible, and with a minimum of 3 working days’ notice, if you need to cancel your place. This will help us to avoid wastage, and allow us to offer your place to someone else. The WRDTP reserves the right to make a deduction from your RTSG (for ESRC-funded PGRs) or to charge your department (for PGRs with other funding arrangements) if you cancel at short notice, or if you do not attend the event having booked a place.
