Further Project Details

They would be interested in collaborating on the following suggested projects:

1) to help teachers and policymakers understand the need for a broad evidence base to inform practice and policy, i.e. a conceptual piece of research that would highlight the different sources of evidence that are used in education and how they link to different teaching strategies and foster different student outcomes.

2) exploring the role of the Chartered College of Teaching in the sector, including stakeholder consultations to better understand their role and influence.

3) help them to understand how they can increase diversity in the teaching profession.

They are also open to discussing other ideas from interested researchers.

Skills Required

  • Writing for non-academic audiences (although they can support with developing this)

  • Qualitative and/or quantitative research skills (depending on the project)

  • A working understanding of the English education system

  • Experience of conducting literature reviews
