Preparing a Submission for the Academy of Management Meeting
This full day workshop aims to help you prepare a submission for the Academy of Management. This will be a collaborative session that will draw on the collective experience of those in the room to inform best practice in preparing a submission. There will be time to discuss submissions and facilitated feedback sessions on short sections of work. There will also be a substantive amount of time put aside to work on your submission. Attendees should come to the session ready to do some substantive writing.
A Christmas-themed lunch will be provided to fuel our work for the day.
Please note that although the focus of the session will be on AOM, it will also be relevant to other business and management conferences.
By the end of the workshop, attendees will:
- Understand more about the different types of AOM submissions and how best to prepare them
- Developed skills in conference submission preparation
- Progressed a substantive piece of writing
