Project Description
Cambridge Scholars Innovative Academy (CSIA) is a non-profit academic and cultural exchange platform founded in 2018 in Cambridge, UK. CSIA brings together international scholars, researchers, students, and professionals, particularly those based in Cambridge, to promote cross-cultural dialogue, academic cooperation, and knowledge sharing. Its mission is to support global academic exchange, cultural integration, and talent development by organising lectures, workshops, international forums, summer schools, publications, and collaborative research projects.
CSIA is launching an institutional academic journal and publishing scholarly monographs to enhance its role as a platform for cross-cultural research and dialogue. This placement will support the production of high-quality academic outputs, help coordinate international collaborations and contribute to the wider cultural and educational mission of CSIA. The placement is expected to strengthen intercultural understanding, provide valuable research and editorial experience, and help build bridges between UK-based scholars and Chinese higher education institutions.
Expected duties will include:
- Assist with editorial and publishing processes for CSIA’s academic journal and monograph series
- Conduct background research in areas such as literature, culture, education, and history
- Support cultural and academic events (e.g. lectures, workshops, and exchanges)
- Draft and edit bilingual (English/Chinese) academic or cultural content
- Contribute to international liaison activities with partner universities and research organisations
