Writing and Publishing your First Research Article in an Education/Childhood/Youth Journal

The aim of this workshop is to demystify the process of writing for publication, both in terms of how to write a journal article and how to navigate the publication process. Participants will learn to:

  • Select a journal in which to publish;
  • Tailor their writing to that specific journal;
  • Underscore the contribution and significance of your research;
  • Respond to reviewer comments.

This will be an interactive workshop. Before attending, you are asked to book a meeting with your supervisor and ask them to suggest three journals that they think would be a good home for a research article based on your PhD research (and explain why they think these journals might be a good fit).
