Project Description
The Global Food and Environment Institute (GFEI) is a cross faculty interdisciplinary research institute at Leeds University.
As part of the GFEI’s commitment to fostering impactful research and engagement, they are looking for a PhD student with a strong interest in sustainability, communications, and research engagement to support the planning and delivery of a series of smaller networking and engagement events that bring together academics and external stakeholders to explore innovative solutions for sustainable food and environmental futures. These events aim to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and enhance the visibility of GFEI’s research activities.
In addition to event support, the placement will involve collating and communicating research impact across the Institute, contributing to the development of engaging content that showcases GFEI’s work to diverse audiences. This may include writing case studies, supporting social media and web content, and assisting with internal and external communications.
Please note this opportunity has been advertised across multiple Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTPs).
