	Project Description
Make it Grow is a Knowledge Exchange project, affiliated to the Institute for Sustainable Food (ISF) and the Institute for Global Sustainable Development (IGSD) at the University of Sheffield. Make it Grow supports marginalised community groups to develop, express and fundraise for their food-related project ideas through the creation of Participatory Video Proposals. Since 2021, the project has empowered 25+ communities in Zimbabwe to share their stories, co-design and pitch food projects. Communities co-created video proposals to apply for small grants, to implement a range of context-relevant initiatives. They are looking for a Project Research Assistant to support further monitoring and evaluation work, to help understand and evidence the outcome and impacts of the community food projects.
Expected duties will include:
● Data organisation, analysis & reporting.
● Creation of an organised database of “impact evidence”.
● Editing/reviewing of previous reports (from 2021-25).
● Contribution to a public engagement output (to give back to the community groups), e.g. a booklet.
● If interested, participation as co-author in a paper for publication.
