This opportunity is for Postgraduate Researchers who began receiving funding from the White Rose DTP in or after Autumn 2024 to undertake a Research in Practice (RinP) placement as part of their studentship.

Are a volunteer-led, grassroots project focused on strengthening the movement of workers fighting for transition, by:

– Outreaching across sectors, regions and unions.

– In-depth interviews with organisers on the details of their efforts.

– Analysis and referrals across shared tactics and structures used in this fight.

– Hosting worker roundtables on key areas of focus for their movement.

This placement is offered on an unpaid basis. The host organisation will not cover your PhD funding during the placement. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that their programme funding will continue during the placement.
