Drop-in sessions:
The PGR drop-in cafés are a series of online sessions designed as a casual, drop in space to socialise with other PGRs during your lunch hour! Whether it’s sharing experience of a recent conference, a tricky method questions, need help finding a paper or just in the mood for natter about anything – everyone is welcome. We’d also like to emphasise this is a drop-in; you don’t have book a place or turn up at the start time. Just drop by when you can and feel free to come and go as you please. The sessions are hosted by the White Rose DTP reps (Lily ECY pathway rep, Hibba SPEL pathway rep, Paddy Leeds Institutional rep). All PGRs across the White Rose institutions are welcome to join, regardless of funding source! We hope this will be great opportunity to get to know other PGRs and take much a needed break during a busy day.
Writing peer support sessions:
Writing a PhD can feel like a solitary task, but it doesn’t have to be. These peer support sessions offer a welcoming space for PGRs to write together, share experiences, and stay motivated. Through informal discussion and focused writing time, attendees can develop productive habits, exchange tips, and feel part of a supportive PGR community.
