Give a brief overview of your current role and responsibilities:
I am a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow, this is a 3-year postdoctoral where I get to design a new research project and publish outputs.
Describe your journey from your PhD to your current role:
I applied for this fellowship while completing the PhD and was awarded the same year so I started the fellowship 4 months after being awarded the PhD.
In what way did your experience with the WRDTP prepare you for your current career?
I learnt the skills to pursue a postdoc project.
What advice would you give to current or future WRDTP postgraduate researchers?
Focus on publishing while finishing the PhD.
