
Preparing a Conference Submission in Management
This session will help you to prepare a conference submission for conferences like the Academy of Management, British Academy of Management, Group for Research on Organizations and the Natural Environment, or the Corporate Responsibility Research Conference (CRRC). The session will include an overview of management conferences, as well as drawing on the collective experience of attendees to inform best practice in preparing a submission. There will be time for questions and discussion.
Outcomes
Participants will:
- Understand more about the different types of conference submissions and how best to prepare them;
- Identify the benefits and opportunities in conference attendance;
- Develop knowledge skills in conference submission preparation.
Contributors
Professor Sally Russell has a background in organisational behaviour and organisational change, with a focus on business, sustainability, and the natural environment. Her research focuses on behaviour change for sustainability and examines factors that affect individual, group, and organisational responses to environmental issues. She is particularly interested in the role of emotion in decision-making in relation to environmental issues. In all areas of her research, Sally works closely with industrial partners to ensure that her research contributes scientifically and practically to the development of more sustainable ways of doing business.
